Wow!  Life is crazy.  I was freaking out about next semester and how to balance an  internship and 2 jobs.  A serious struggle bus problem with my friends and I!  But things are better, I talked with one of my supervisors and it was so productive!  I love it!  I'm still really really busy.  Homecoming at Grace was awesome though.  I hadn't played mafia in ages and I just really enjoyed hanging out with everyone.  A weekend without going to the bar, that's a rarity! 

I hope everyone who reads this is doing well.  I know my last post was a little more out there because it was a really rough day.  I cried alot last week.  I'm doing much much better now.

Life is insanely busy.  It's homecoming and halloween.  I'm gonna be a cheerleader tonight.  Go team!  The conference was good and I'm going to Grace next weekend for homecoming.  Life is crazy!  Love you!

Wow!  It's been 2 months since I posted.  I guess that shows how busy I am.  I went on vacation with my mom and sis which was fun.  I went white water rafting, kayaking, windsurfing, on a whale cruise, and walked all around Seattle.  I would repeat the trip again.  I want to learn to windsurf more and I have to white water again!  I'll post pictures later. 

I'm working 2 jobs and going to school right now.  It's absolute crazyiness.  I have my assistantship still in reslife and I've added 10 hrs/week working in our career services office.  I'm so excited about that since I'll be doing alot of presentations and just getting alot of different experiences.  Added bonus, I get to work with my buddy ken and the other Grad in that department (besides ken) is tons of fun.  We went to the bar together on Friday night.  She's a blast!  I really love that department though and I have some amazing bosses.

I'm also doing lots of professional development.  I'm on a planning committee for our state-wide student affairs conference.  I'm also presenting at that conference.  In addition, I've submitted 2 proposals to the national conference and I'm hoping to present there as well.  I'll probably be doing placement there (nationals) for my job search.  Here's to hoping I get a job this Spring

On a fun happy note, My bday is Wed!  I'm sooooo excited.  I love birthdays, whosever they may be.  Carolyn's is next Monday and I think I know what I'm going to do for her already.  Booher's was last Monday and I did a little decorating in his office while he was gone.  Anywyas, for Carolyn's and my bday we're going out on Friday night.  Hitting up Shakespeare's first.  It's gonna be a crazy-ass time.  I hope I'm not hungover on Saturday.  Barhopping for the bday, but not to worry,  I've already assigned a DD.  One of my friends doesn't drink.

Well, I'm sitting here in my office and have tons of stuff to do (aside from homework) so I should head out.  I'll add pics later and I hope you all are doing great!

So again it's been a while since I entered anything.  Well, I'm sitting here at work.  I'm working in career services now.  I can't wait until the school year starts so that this job will be more exciting.  I finished my "big" project that I have been working on and both of my supervisors are gone for the week.  I'm not quite sure what to do.  I need to proofread these flyers and then they'll be done.  wow, 20 graduate flyers and 15 undergraduate for college of ed programs and I clumped alot of the grad programs together.  It's so exciting isn't it?

Life has been exciting let me tell you.  I work t-th, 9a-2p.  The hours/days are great! I've been going to my parent's house alot and playing on the lake.  I went there last weekend, it was ok.  Crap happened and it kinda sucked, but I saw fireworks, went tubing, ate good food, and worked on my tan.  BTW I'm getting so dark!  Even one of my guy friends commented on my tan.  I'm cooking dinner tonight.  Manicotti.  It should be good.

So I put 2 stickers in my car, one is the human rights campaign sticker and the other says flaming hetero, straight but not narrow.  As i reflect on those stickers, I am amazed at the changes I have made since graduating Grace, a year ago.  I am no longer a right-wing conservative, and I don't really even have any Christian friends anymore.  Some would say my changes are positive, others would say negative.  I'm extremely open minded and accepting of anything and everything now.  Some of my best friends are gay/lesbian/bisexual.  I've been to a couple different gay bars.  That was an experience, but it was fun.  Sometimes I miss the innocence and naivety I had last year, but I know that I can't keep that forever, and I'm not ignorant of things anymore.  Well at least not everything.  My friends used to laugh when I didn't get a joke or slang, oh wait they still do!  Ha, well I should try and do some work.
